Requests are requests for a reason, they are NOT commissions, you are NOT paying me for my time. So do NOT ask me to draw you a picture quickly, especially when you see other people who've asked me BEFORE YOU to draw them something. If you want a request, you can ask for one, because I've said you could, but don't expect the picture to be there within an hour or something.
Art does not magically appear on a canvas.
I don't know, it just rubs me the wrong way when people who are not paying me for my time and have the nerve to tell me how fast and when to do something.
I believe that all dedicated artists feel this way. When I speak, I believe I speak for all of us, don't ever have the nerve to speed someone up/tell someone when to do something, when they're nice enough to even do it for you. Eventually people will get the art requested by me because I pretty much draw everyday. But I DO HAVE A LIFE. If I'm not drawing, I have to take care of myself, chores, study and a bunch of other stuff.
When it comes to commissions, that's an entirely different story, before hand you tell me what you want, and the time frame you'd need it(if there's a due date). If you don't tell me that, I'll still get your art done in a timely manner, and it will be first priority over requested art.
So once again, I'm doing the requests. And I'm closing the thread tonight actually, so if you want something post it in the thread, I'll see it, say "Okay" and that's that. Be considerate that other people requested before you, I'll get to your request when I get to it. Also if you're demanding me, "Do mines first because I asked first, don't do theirs blablabla." Most likely I won't do yours first because:
a) I feel demanded
b) I feel as though that's quite rude
c) Have some damn manners
If you want yours done before, please ask nicely and provide a good reason why... usually requests are JUST requests so there isn't much of a reason, only that you want a picture drawn... So yeah.
Thanks.
